Heidi Bergener
Dr. Heidi Bergener currently serves as the Director of K-12 Pathways and Adult School Coordinator for Coronado Unified School District. She moved to Coronado in 2018 to become the principal of Village Elementary, a role she proudly held for five years before transitioning into her current position.
Dr. Bergener is passionate about expanding opportunities for students by strengthening college and career pathways as well as adult learning programs that support the diverse needs of the Coronado community. She deeply values the tradition of excellence in Coronado schools and the many ways they prepare students for future success.
Outside of her professional role, Dr. Bergener enjoys life in Coronado with her husband and is the proud parent of two adult sons—both graduates of Coronado schools and beneficiaries of the unique opportunities supported by the Coronado Schools Foundation.
