One Town One Team

We are One Town, One Team!

The 92118 is a place where there is much to celebrate; we are one of the most philanthropic, lively, and liveable communities in the state. Coronado is home to one of the best school districts in the county; a place to learn and grow, where academics, athletics, and arts all thrive. The City and the Coronado Unified School District are partners who share the same geographic boundaries. Coronado’s generous business community, city government, many service organizations, Navy neighbors, and citizens, pour their support into our schools and our youth. We have robust recreation programs and facilities where our youngest Islanders can go from Little League and Pop Warner to Friday Night Lights at Niedermeyer Field; or from Island Youth Theater to the main stage at Coronado School of the Arts. Our families gather together at Concerts in the Park, bonfires on the beach, fireworks, spontaneous town bike rides, and even an iconic high school homecoming parade through downtown. The opportunities for connections across generations is a gift to our children. ‘One Town One Team’ embodies the sentiment that represents our unified community. Whether you live in Coronado or come here to work, learn, or play… we are all Islanders when we are in the 92118. We are proud to be ‘One Town One Team.’
