Coronado Schools Foundation Gives Grant to Coronado All-School Musical
Coronado, CA, November 4, 2007 — The Coronado Schools Foundation (CSF) has given a $2,000 grant to the Coronado All-School Musical that ensures funding for production rights and royalties. The Coronado All-School Musical, under the direction of Kim Strassburger, is an annual, community-wide theatre production open to all students in the Coronado community. The Musical brings together elementary, middle, and high school students from both public and private schools.

“Each year the director of this musical has sought funding from various groups including parent teacher organizations, in order to cover these annual fees.  With our partnership forged last year with these groups with CSF providing program support and the parent teacher groups direct classroom support, our Board of Directors voted unanimously that this was an excellent program to support financially,” commented Patty Cowan, CSF Executive Director. 

The Coronado Schools Foundation becomes a Producing Partner of the All-School Musical and demonstrates it continuing support for all members of the Coronado school community.

This year’s All-School Musical, Oliver!, will be presented on December 13th, 14th, and 15th at 7pm and on December 16th at 2pm.
